WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025

Theme: “Combating Plastic Pollution”

“Let’s Nurture the Nature So That We Have a Better Future”

Hindustan International School – Padur observed World Environment Day with a series of meaningful and engaging activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness.

Students from Grades I to XII participated in age-appropriate competitions that encouraged creativity and environmental responsibility. These included Seed Art by Grades I and II, Nature Mandalas by Grades III and IV, Poster Making by Grades V and VI, and Green Talk speeches by Grades VII and VIII on the theme “Think Before You Throw.” Senior students from Grades IX to XII took part in Eco Journalism, presenting interactive news reports on critical environmental issues. Grade XI Biology students studied the morphology of flowering plants and nonflowering plants. They also extended their learning by identifying the scientific name as well as the common name of each plant in our School Garden.

The celebration served as a platform to nurture eco-consciousness and inspire students to take thoughtful actions for a sustainable future.
